To remedy this situation, we’re running a competition to see who can create the most compelling regency character.
The winner of the competition shall have their character duly illustrated by the talented Aviv Or (avivor.com). This shall, along with a description, appear as a card in the deck of non-player gentry available with the game.
You may enter the competition by:
1. Expositing in fifty words or less, on Twitter, Facebook, or G+, what sort of person you would be if you were among the gentry of Austen’s society.
For example: I should be a curiously tall gentleman dressed in the latest country fashion with a wide and gleaming smile. Though my clothes are immaculate and my snuff case encrusted in gold, the truth is I have barely one hundred pounds to my name.
2. Tagging said exposition with the hashtag #goodsocietyrpg to bring its appearance to our attention.
The competition will close on the 13th of December.
Wherefore we will judge the best among these based on nothing but our whims by the 16th of December.
After this, we shall notify the winner, whose description shall pass directly to our artist Aviv Or for illustration in bust size. At this time, the winner will have the chance to add any further details as they should wish. Once the illustration is done, a high resolution version shall be sent to the winner by the express electronic post for their general enjoyment.
Once complete, this illustration and description (modified as necessary) shall be placed on a card in the deck of NPGs (non-player gentry) that shall be for sale with the game.
