We are offsetting our carbon emissions and reducing our footprint

Our environment is important to us, so we wanted to make sure that Storybrewers Roleplaying was carbon neutral. As a result, we will be offsetting our estimated carbon emissions on an annual basis, and reducing our footprint wherever possible. We’ve made a commitment to our planet, and we also want you to know that you can support our business without contributing to the climate crisis.

How we’ve offset our emissions

We’ve offset our emissions using Gold Standard Carbon Certificates. These certificates were created through investment in a carbon offset project based in Timor-Leste. Gold Standard are a benchmark standards body recognised by the Australian Government so we are confident in the quality and efficacy of the program we are supporting.

Our commitment into the future

We’ve made progress in reducing and offsetting our environmental impact, but our job doesn’t end here. It is our intention to review our approach to sustainability on an annual basis, so we can identify ways to further improve our environmental performance year on year. Our plan for this is to better measure our impact, reduce fuel use and continue to offset our emissions, all at no cost to our customers.

Breakdown of our impact

We believe transparency is important and include below an estimate of our carbon footprint in 2019. Our measurement of our carbon footprint is an estimate created based on available data points. We erred on the side of overestimating our emissions rather than under-reporting.
